Tony & Kate Case

Tony Case is a retired pastor, teacher, musician and songleader who has planted several churches and a successful Christian school over a ministry period exceeding 30 years. He has been either a pastor or in senior church leadership for most of his adult life and has a background in business and financial planning. He and his wife, Kate, share the same passion and desire to see the local church flourish and prosper, the people of God grow strong in their faith, and believers everywhere released into whatever ministry God has called them into.

Early in Tony's ministry God impressed upon him two Bible passages that have been the cornerstone and focus of all he has ever tried to accomplish as a pastor. The first is in Luke 10:2 where Jesus gave us a graphic view of the present day need for labourers to bring in the harvest, saying "The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few". The second is where Jesus first announces his ministry in the synagogue from Luke 4:18-19 which simply speaks about "Meeting needs, healing wounds, and setting captives free".

Ps 127:1 clearly states that, 'Unless God builds the house, they labour in vain who build it', and we have no desire to labour in vain. God is doing something awesome in the world today and TC Ministries seeks to be part of the exciting move of God which we believe is on its way to a town near you very soon. The wonders of this digital age are many, not least the capacity to reach people on a world-wide scale from our lounge rooms and offices. There has never been a greater time in history for getting God's Word out to the masses, and while we need to be discerning and carefully check out everything we learn from as Christians to ensure that it aligns accurately with God's Word, we do live in a truly awesome age. With the click of a button we now have access to God's Word and solid Bible-based teaching never before experienced in any previous generation.

Tony remains active in his local church, serves as treasurer of the local Minister's Association and is on the board of a thriving local Christian school. 

Kate is not just a support person, although she is certainly that! After completing university Kate spent 25 years as a veterinary surgeon, then the next 20 years were spent working with Tony in their financial planning business. Tony and Kate have always been partners in ministry, and are a prime example of how two can be better than one, and a three-fold cord is not easily broken (Eccl 4:9-12).

Tony & Kate believe strongly that a local church should not be an island, and share a passion for teaching and inspiring believers everywhere to become enthusiastic students of God's Word, to grow in their faith to maturity, and find release in Christian ministry in whatever manner God calls them to serve. We are all called to faithfully seek and serve the kingdom, working in unity across the great spectrum which is the body of Christ with others of like mind. Reaching the lost at any cost with the gospel of salvation is our ultimate objective and mission. Caring for one another at all times as genuine disciples of Jesus Christ who are known by their love (John 13:34-35), is a calling all believers share until Jesus returns. Seeking first the kingdom and His righteousness (Matt 6:33) contains a promise that God will take care of just about everything else.
